PhD, LCPC, Psychotherapist

Life is challenging at times, and joyous at others. When we struggle to cope with the challenging times, we can find ourselves on a path that is increasingly harder to change. However, we have the ability to author our futures.

In therapy, I utilize a culturally competent person-centered approach that promotes awareness and growth. I believe that a strong relationship is the foundation of therapeutic progress. I am trained in a variety of techniques and therapies and aim to find the approach that best fits you and the difficulties you are experiencing. Areas of focus have included depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, relationship issues, and life transitions.

I received my Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Adler University in 2013, and a Bachelors of Arts with majors in both Literature and Philosophy from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 2008. I am currently a Ph.D. student studying Counselor Education and Supervision at Adler University. I am a fully licensed counselor and have been working in various counseling, educational, social change, and advocacy settings since 2013.
