Maybe things aren’t “too bad”, and you are doing “pretty well”. Maybe you feel broken, lost, or hopeless about whether things can get better. I believe healing is possible, and everyone deserves love and support at times of struggle. How do we move beyond coping and towards healing? While it is normal to feel alone, we all live in relation to other people, institutions, systems, and cultures. I believe we can carve our ways toward a better quality of life by exploring our vulnerabilities, our needs, and our relationships.

As a counselor, I incorporate feminist therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy to empower individuals, promote self-care and collective healing, and strengthen connections with communities. I am passionate about working with people of color, immigrants, and queer individuals in identity development, sexual trauma, addiction, and community trauma. I value providing culturally sensitive and trauma-informed services and collaborating with my clients to create their own unique paths in life-long healing.

It can be difficult to open yourself up, and it can take time to find a therapist that works for you. Please feel free to reach out when you feel ready. I look forward to being part of your journey.
